Her variety of knowledge, skills and experience can provide you with an exciting program, designed just for you! Choose to train at your fitness facility, in your home, on-line, by phone, the great out-doors, or any combination thereof.

So You Think You Can Dance?!


In one of my 'new venues' I will be teaching ballet jazz (or lyrical jazz for any of you reality TV buffs watching “So You Think You Can Dance”) at DANSpace on Grafton Street in Halifax, beginning Thursday, September 22. Please see my Dance page for further information.

Dance is one of my huge passions, so even if you have never taken a dance class in your life, now is your chance to come see what all the fuss is about. It is a fun, exciting and social way to get in shape!


 

YWCA Closure


For those of you that don'’t know, the YWCA on
Barrington St., Halifax, is closing down its fitness component and the building has been sold. I have been the exclusive personal trainer at the YWCA for the past 5 years and have had many wonderful clients and experiences. Also, I created many programs and taught all forms of fitness, strength, dance and ball classes. At one point I was asked to step in (and I agreed) as the Health, Fitness & Wellness Coordinator.

I want to thank all the wonderful participants, clients and dancers for your loyalty and patronage. I encourage you to join me in my new haunts, wherever I teach class and if you keep visiting here, I'’ll keep you up to speed. Thank you.

Welcome to my blog. I am very excited to start this new chapter in my personal training/fitness/dance career. This is my first blog and I invite you to visit often and see what is new with my business, Cia’s Body Works and me...Cia! I will continue “making fitness fun” for you!

I am glad you are visiting, whether you are a faithful student, or client of mine, or just curious to find out what I am all about. Glad you asked!
